Richwoods was the 1-0 winner over Champaign Central when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Maroons on Tuesday. Richwoods' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of Acosia Morris, who's now up to nine this season.

Richwoods' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Champaign Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Richwoods will face off against Morton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Champaign Central, they will square off against Normal Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
