Basketball Recap: Wautoma Takes a Loss

Wautoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 66-16 loss at the hands of the Adams-Friendship Green Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-20 last Tuesday.

Maddy Meyer was Wautoma's leading scorer, having posted six points.

Wautoma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Adams-Friendship, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Wautoma wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 83-17 loss against Winneconne on the 10th. Adams-Friendship has also already played their next match (against Mauston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
