Morgantown waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against The Linsly School Cadets as they made off with a 12-4 victory. With that win, the Mohigans brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
LIZ ALSOP made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, ANNE ROBINSON was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was CARPER MESSERLY, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
