Basketball Recap: Gary Horton Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Ingleside

Rockport-Fulton won the last time they faced Ingleside and things went their way on Friday too. The Rockport-Fulton Pirates blew past the Ingleside Mustangs 64-41.

Rockport-Fulton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gary Horton, who went 6 for 12 to rack up 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those five steals gave Horton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hudson King, who posted 15 points.

Rockport-Fulton's win bumped their record up to 16-17. As for Ingleside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-10.

Looking ahead, Rockport-Fulton will head out to square off against Calhoun at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ingleside, they will host Jones at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
