Basketball Recap: Still Creek Christian Takes a Loss

Still Creek Christian managed to keep up with North Zulch until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Colts came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 64-42. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Still Creek Christian still got an impressive performance from Logan Walton, who shot 88% from beyond the arc to rack up 25 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Walton now owns an excellent 47.9% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Mangan, who posted nine points and six boards.

Still Creek Christian now has a losing record of 3-4. As for North Zulch, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, North Zulch will take on International Leadership of Texas Aggieland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Still Creek Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' matchup: after the Bulldogs face off against McDade, they'll take on Still Creek Christian again at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
