Basketball Recap: Cleveland Beats Knightdale for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Cleveland won against West Johnston last Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Rams strolled past the Knightdale Knights with points to spare, taking the game 73-58. The victory was just business as usual for the Rams, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Cleveland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tjay Brunson out in front who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds. The contest was Brunson's fourth in a row with at least 20 points. Trey Atkinson was another key player, putting up 23 points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Knightdale had strong showings from Juice Coleman, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 16 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds, and Brennen Jefferson, who went 6-for-10 en route to 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Jefferson now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Jaden Morgan, who posted six points.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Knightdale, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will look to defend their home court on Friday against Corinth Holders at 7:45 p.m. As for Knightdale, they will head out to take on Leesville Road at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Pride have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
