Soccer Recap: Lone Peak Starts Season with Victory Against Maple Mountain

Lone Peak gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They never let the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The contest was close at halftime, but Lone Peak turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

They hit Maple Mountain with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Macie Leavitt (2), Kate Fuller, and Nya Piercy.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will host Skyline at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maple Mountain, they are taking a road trip to take on Mountain Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
