Volleyball Recap: Valley View Takes a Loss

Valley View suffered their biggest defeat since March 18th on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Ramona Rams. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley View took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Michael Villagrana, who had 19 digs and three assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Valley View's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Ramona, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Valley View didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Citrus Hill on the 22nd. Ramona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
