Basketball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

Manor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Churchland Truckers at home by a 65-50 margin. The Mustangs lost against the Truckers in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 79-42 score last time.

When it comes to explaining why Manor lost, don't look at Jaidon Johnson. Despite the final result, he posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Harris Jr., who earned eight points.

Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Churchland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Manor will face off against Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Manor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Churchland, they will challenge Maury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
