Baseball Recap: Archbold Takes a Loss

Archbold blew Wauseon out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Wauseon got their revenge. The Blue Streaks fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-0. The Blue Streaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Archbold's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Wauseon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Archbold will face off against Edgerton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wauseon, they will square off against Bellevue at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
