Soldotna faced Seward in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Stars came out on top against the Seahawks by a score of 3-1. The Stars haven't had any issues with the Seahawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 18-25, 25-14.

Morgan Simac paced Soldotna's offense, picking up 14 kills. Simac got some help from Teagen Kobylarz and her 25 assists. Simac was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
