Softball Recap: Poland Tornadoes vs. Hamilton Emerald Knights

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Canada Valley, Poland was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 20-16 win over the Hamilton Emerald Knights. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Poland considering their two-run performance the contest before.

For Hamilton's part, Sicily Catania was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Rhiannon Murray was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5.

Even though they lost, Hamilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
