After only two runs in their last contest, Sunnyside made sure to put some runs up on the board against Pasco on Friday. The Grizzlies blew past the Bulldogs 17-0. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Grizzlies' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Lili Briones was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Murray, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Sunnyside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win snapped Sunnyside's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-10 record. As for Pasco, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sunnyside beat the Bulldogs by a score of 21-4 later that day.
