Baseball Game Preview: Broadalbin-Perth Patriots vs. South Glens Falls Bulldogs

The Broadalbin-Perth Patriots will venture away from home to challenge the South Glens Falls Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Broadalbin-Perth is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Broadalbin-Perth and Scotia-Glenville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Patriots fell 7-3 to the Tartans on Wednesday. Patriots fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Tartans since on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, while South Glens Falls put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Schuylerville. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Horses 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

The team relied heavily on Justin Christensen, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double was his first of the season.

South Glens Falls hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Schuylerville struck out seven times.

Broadalbin-Perth now has a losing record of 4-5. As for South Glens Falls, their record now sits at 6-1.
