Softball Recap: Serrano Comes Up Short

Serrano lost to Oak Hills on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Diamondbacks might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-4 to the Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Serrano's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Oak Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Serrano will challenge rival Burroughs at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Oak Hills is set to square off against their familiar foe Hesperia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
