Softball Recap: Wood-Ridge Takes a Loss

Wood-Ridge's last matchup with Becton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Blue Devils lost 10-0 to the Wildcats. The match marked the first time this year in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Wood-Ridge saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooke Stellato, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Wood-Ridge now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Becton, the win keeps they at an undefeated 3-0-1.

Coincidentally, Wood-Ridge and Becton will both be playing Waldwick the next time they take the field. The Blue Devils will host the Warriors on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
