Volleyball Recap: Bancroft-Rosalie Takes a Loss

Bancroft-Rosalie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Bailey Murphy paced Bancroft-Rosalie's offense, picking up seven kills. Murphy got some help from Callie Kai and her 12 assists.

Bancroft-Rosalie's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Bancroft-Rosalie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against West Point-Beemer on the 18th. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Stanton on the 16th.
