Recap: Enterprise Wolves vs. Millard Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kanab, the Enterprise Wolves were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Millard by a score of 54-41. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Enterprise also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Enterprise got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaycee Barlow out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 17 rebounds. Eliza Balajadia was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Millard's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Bassett, who scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Stephenson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Millard, they dropped their record down to 7-14 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Enterprise will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Enterprise focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday. As for Millard, they will head out on the road to take on Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kanab has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 562 points over their last eight matchups.
