After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Paul, Ramona Convent was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the St. Mary's Academy Belles. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Belles back in September, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Ramona Convent walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 20-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Ramona Convent is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-18 record this season. As for St. Mary's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ramona Convent is set to challenge their familiar foe San Gabriel Mission at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy will take on rival St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
