Softball Recap: Thompson Falls Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Thompson Falls was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Florence-Carlton Falcons, falling 17-2. The Blue Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Thompson Falls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annalise Fairbank, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Thompson Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Florence-Carlton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Thompson Falls had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
