Football Recap: Rancho Christian Comes Up Short

Rancho Christian was the 42-36 winner over Poly when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles were beaten by the Bears 42-6 on Saturday. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Rancho Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Poly, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Rancho Christian will face off against Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34.71 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Poly, they will take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
