Volleyball Recap: Eau Claire North's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games + How To Watch

After a string of four wins, Eau Claire North's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Chippewa Falls Cardinals. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Eau Claire North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Adelynn Shepler paced Eau Claire North's offense, picking up four kills. Shepler got some help from Kendall Vance and her eight assists.

Chippewa Falls found their leader in freshman Ilah Sinz, who had 18 digs and five assists.

Eau Claire North now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Chippewa Falls, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 22-6 record this season.

Eau Claire North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rice Lake on the 4th. As for Chippewa Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Cretin-Derham Hall on the 4th.
