Fort Defiance is 8-2 against Wilson Memorial since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Green Hornets at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Fort Defiance has nine straight victories, Wilson Memorial has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Fort Defiance needed a bit of extra time to put away Stuarts Draft. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cougars, sneaking past 4-3.

Meanwhile, Wilson Memorial suffered their closest defeat since April 17th on Friday. They fell just short of Buffalo Gap by a score of 5-3.

Fort Defiance's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Wilson Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Fort Defiance skirted past Wilson Memorial 7-5 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Hornets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
