Maranatha Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They managed a 65-59 victory over Canyon Hills.

Meanwhile, Coronado had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Pointers by a score of 65-54.

The win got Maranatha Christian back to even at 15-15. As for Coronado, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16.

Things could have been worse for Maranatha Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 62-43 loss to Coronado in their previous matchup back in November of 2016.
