Basketball Recap: Carroll Drops Season-High Score on Tri-County

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 66-53 to the Tri-County Cavaliers. On the bright side, the 53- point performance marked the Cougars' highest-scoring game to date.

Tri-County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Foster out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine boards. Foster has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Clayton Atkinson, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tri-County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Carroll will welcome Caston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tri-County, they will head out on the road to face off against Twin Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers' defense better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 52 points per game this season.
