Baseball Recap: West Fork Comes Up Short

West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Booneville Bearcats. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bearcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

West Fork saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Konnor Kirk, who went 1-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Booneville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season.

As of now, neither West Fork nor Booneville have any future games scheduled.
