Basketball Recap: Ridge Community Takes a Loss

Ridge Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Jordan Christian Prep Seahawks 76-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bolts have suffered since February 8, 2024.

Several Bolts players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isley Maurice, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jiovanni Laporte, who had seven points.

Ridge Community's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jordan Christian Prep, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

Ridge Community will host Lakeland at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan Christian Prep has already played their next contest (against Norland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
