Softball Recap: Bisbee Comes Up Short

If Bisbee was feeling good fresh off their 21-7 takedown of Desert Christian on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pumas came up short against the Tombstone Yellow Jackets on Thursday, falling 20-1. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Bisbee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrea Borbon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Bisbee's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Tombstone, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Bisbee will host Santa Rita at 4:00 p.m. on April 3. As for Tombstone, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-3 defeat against Round Valley on the 28th.
