Carson took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Everything went their way against Central Cabarrus as Carson made off with a 3-0 victory.
Meanwhile, West Rowan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Lake Norman Charter.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19, 21-25, 25-12.
Carson is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for West Rowan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
