Volleyball Recap: Steele Comes Up Short

The Steele Comets came up short against the Olentangy Liberty Patriots on Saturday and fell 2-0.

James Ludwig paced Steele's offense, picking up six kills. Ludwig got some help from Joe Penano and his 11 assists.

Olentangy Liberty got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sreekar Sunkara out in front who had 11 assists and five digs.

Steele now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Olentangy Liberty, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Steele has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Start on the 15th. As for Olentangy Liberty, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hilliard Darby on the 20th.
