Football Recap: Elmore County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elmore County can now relate to. They were beaten by the Williamson Lions 42-14 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Panthers have suffered since November 8, 2024.

Although Elmore County took the loss, they still got scores from Beau Traylor and Connor Pike.

Elmore County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Seth McGhee.

It was another big night for Todrick Withers, who rushed for 139 yards and three scores for Williamson. Withers' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards.
