After losing to Narbonne the last time they met, Banning decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pilots came out on top against the Gauchos by a score of 3-1 on Monday.

The final score came out to 27-25, 12-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Angelina Navarrette paced Banning's offense, picking up nine kills. Navarrette got some help from Azul Elias and her 19 assists. Elias was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Banning's record now sits at 6-17. As for Narbonne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Banning is set to square off against their familiar foe Gardena at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Narbonne will challenge rival Rancho Dominguez at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
