Soccer Game Preview: Plano East vs. McKinney

Plano East hasn't had much luck against McKinney recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Plano East face off against McKinney at 7:30 p.m. Plano East's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Friday, Plano East had just enough and edged out Plano 3-2. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one goal.

They hit Plano with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hayden Thies, Gael Torres, and Mark Khoury.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, McKinney was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 4-1 to McKinney Boyd. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while the Broncos are ranked 78th).

Plano East's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-3. As for McKinney, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-7.
