Rock Gilliam posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
