Football Recap: Harding University Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Central Cabarrus Vikings 51-8.

When it comes to explaining why Harding University lost, don't look at Jamarcus Hairston. Despite the final result, he rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown.

Damonte James continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Central Cabarrus, rushing for 180 yards on only eight carries. James is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 102 every time he's taken the field this season. Chris Ikana was another key player, rushing for 95 yards on only seven carries.

Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Central Cabarrus, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Harding University does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Cabarrus, they will venture away from home to take on Southeast Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
