            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Paschal, Benbrook was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Atlanta Rabbits, sneaking past  4-3.
 Ethan Smith made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  tossed 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Smith was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Smith wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Sebastian Martinez, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Benbrook was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .381. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Benbrook's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Atlanta,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-3.
 Looking ahead, Benbrook will take on Hooks in a tournament  on Friday. As for Atlanta, they are taking a road trip to  take on Longview  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The last three games Atlanta has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
