Basketball Recap: Berwick Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Traip + How To Watch

Berwick Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 91-47 win over the Traip Rangers. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

Frank Blackadar had an outrageously good game as he almost dropped a double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds. Brandon Ventura was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and ten boards.

Berwick Academy and Traip will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Bulldogs see the court they'll take on Portsmouth Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Traip, their break will end when they face Sacopee Valley at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
