Fremd came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos by a score of 64-52. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Fillies/Broncos are ranked 67th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fremd's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-2. As for Barrington, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
