            Softball Preview: Delta Rabbits vs. North Sevier Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            The Delta Rabbits will face off against the North Sevier Wolves at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Delta is looking for their season's first  win.
Delta saw some tournament action  on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  16-8 to Ogden, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.
 Elee Anderson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Brinley Styler also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Even though they lost, Delta  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Sevier's offense. They came up short against  Gunnison Valley last Tuesday, falling  15-0. The loss was the Wolves' first of the season.
 North Sevier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dally Wasden, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
 North Sevier dropped their record down to 2-1 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Everything went Delta's way against North Sevier in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024, as Delta made off with  an  18-6 victory. Does  Delta have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Sevier turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
