Preview: Falcon Falcons vs. Coronado Cougars
The Falcon Falcons will be playing at home against the Coronado Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Falcon will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Even though The Classical Academy scored an imposing 59 points on Wednesday, Falcon still came out on top. Falcon snuck past The Classical Academy with a 64-59 victory.
Falcon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Eric Graham out in front who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Graham hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Tyler Cox, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Coronado came up short against Sand Creek on Saturday and fell 50-39.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jalyn Jarboe, who scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Realiti Smith, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Falcon's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Coronado, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
