Belton is a perfect 5-0 against University since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Belton Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the University Trojans at 7:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Belton comes in on nine and University on four.

Belton barely beat Lake Belton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Belton's defense stepped up to hand Lake Belton a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. Give the Tigers' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Meanwhile, University won against Waco on Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Tuesday. University came out on top against Chaparral by a score of 3-1.

Belton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matches. As for University, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Everything went Belton's way against University in their previous matchup on February 11th, as Belton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Belton since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
