Baseball Recap: Harrison Central Comes Up Short

The Harrison Central Red Rebels came up short against the Hartfield Academy Hawks on Wednesday, falling 13-2. The Red Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bryan Travis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. He also scored a run, marking his first of the season.

Harrison Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hartfield Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Harrison Central will venture away from home to take on St. Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hartfield Academy, they will challenge Pope John Paul II at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hartfield Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
