Basketball Game Preview: Park Christian Falcons vs. New York Mills Eagles

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Falcons challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Park Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.

Last Monday, Park Christian was fully in charge, breezing past Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal 66-34. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, New York Mills came up short against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Tuesday and fell 56-48. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Park Christian has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for New York Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13.

Everything came up roses for Park Christian against New York Mills in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 73-39 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Park Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
