Volleyball Recap: Medina Valley Takes a Loss

Medina Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Memorial on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Liv Halbeisen paced Medina Valley's offense, picking up 11 kills. Halbeisen got some help from Alana Smith and her 26 assists.

Kassia Tan had a dynamite game For Memorial., getting 21 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Tan has posted since back in October of 2024.

Medina Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Memorial, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Medina Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Sotomayor on the 30th. As for Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Madison on the 30th.
