A Season-Best Performance from Alex Nicholson Leads Fort Bragg over Upper Lake
Alex Nicholson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fort Bragg to the win on Friday. Nicholson rushed for 251 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also picked up 66 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Upper Lake's probably not too fond of Nicholson given he always seems to get the better of them. Nicholson rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 64 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in October of 2023.

Brock Barrick Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Kelseyville got the W thanks in part to Brock Barrick playing the best football he has all season. Barrick rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Kelseyville, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. They and Lower Lake are set to duel on Friday.

Dejohn Made His Presence Known in Kelseyville's 20-17 Victory
Keeping Barrick company is Michael Dejohn, a fellow Kelseyville player. He rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Dejohn is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Lower Lake on Friday. When Dejohn last faced the Trojans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns.

While Willits might've come up empty on Friday, Kolbe Bufardeci wasn't going down without a fight. Kelseyville had no answer to Bufardeci as he made ten total tackles. Bufardeci was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.
With the defeat, Willits broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2. Bufardeci and Willits will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Clear Lake at 7:00 p.m.

Corey Rockey posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He threw for 167 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards.
On the season, Rockey has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 191.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 14.85 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 101.71 passer rating.
