Softball Game Preview: St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs vs. Whites Creek Cobras

The St. Cecilia Academy Scarabs are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on the Whites Creek Cobras at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Whites Creek took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Cecilia Academy, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, St. Cecilia Academy got the win against University School of Nashville by a conclusive 17-5. The Scarabs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Whites Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Antioch, falling 18-6. One positive for the Cobras, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got St. Cecilia Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Whites Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
