Recap: Frederica Academy vs. Bulloch Academy Gators
After flying high against the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders two weeks ago, The Frederica Academy came back down to earth. The matchup between Frederica Academy and Bulloch Academy wasn't particularly close, with Frederica Academy falling 35-21. Frederica Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bulloch Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Bulloch Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Aaron out in front who rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Danye Garvin was another key contributor, rushing for 116 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
Frederica Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Bulloch Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederica Academy has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Pinewood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. Pinewood Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Frederica Academy likes a good challenge. As for Bulloch Academy, they will be playing at home against St. Andrew's at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. St. Andrew's is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
