Softball Recap: Stanwood Spartans vs. Burlington-Edison Tigers
Stanwood made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Burlington-Edison, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Stanwood blew past Burlington-Edison 11-1 on Saturday. Stanwood got a massive performance out of Rubi Lopez, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those four stolen bases gave Lopez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jemma Lopez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
