They strolled past the Greater Cabarrus S Stallions with points to spare, taking the game 48-33. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won three in a row.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool was led to victory by Melody Lee and Julianna Lamon. Lee shot 46% from the field on her way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, while Lamon dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Lee's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Makayla Calzada, who posted six points along with seven assists and five boards.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Greater Cabarrus S, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-24 record this season.
