Two dominant signal callers in James 'Jimmy' Haren and Brady Barrier are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Waltrip Rams will head out to challenge the Barbers Hill Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. It was another big night for Zyon Gamble, who rushed for 189 yards and two TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. Those 189 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Waltrip also got a significant boost from Dere'Yon Bush, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

One reason for the win was Barbers Hill's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. It was truly a group effort as Tate Hollingsworth, Andrew Burns, and Carson Hahn picked up two apiece. Hollingsworth also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven. Kross Kilgo was another major factor on D, making 18 total tackles.
